Route 60 Streetscape/Corridor Study The County has made application for an additional Transportation Enhancement grant to continue the Route 60 streetscape plan. The application, submitted for the November 1, 2006 deadline, requests funding for streetlights along Route 60 from the High School to the Courthouse and related installation costs. . Since 2003, the County has been awarded over $600,000 in 5 rounds of funding for the phased project, which includes landscaping of the Courthouse Green area, the addition of period lighting, crosswalks, and renovation of the “old jail” into a museum/visitor’s center with the addition of a comfort station at the rear of the building. .
