Cumberland and Guinea Presbyterian Churches Description: This historic church has been serving the spiritual needs of the Cumberland community since 1854. We are one church with two preaching locations. Our members are loving, caring, and family oriented. Our goal is to be a place of welcome for all who enter that they may also find love, compassion, peace, and enjoy God's blessings by being obedient to Him. Cumberland County Christmas Mother Description: Established in 2000, the Cumberland Community Christmas program is committed to supplementing the holiday gift-giving season with toys, clothing and holiday gift baskets to Cumberland County youth and elderly in need. Through the Angel initiative, applicants supply a wish list and donors, shopping with holiday spirit, contribute the gifts. This community gift-giving is its own reward. Fitzgerald Memorial Baptist Church Description: Fitzgerald Memorial Baptist Church is located in Cumberland, on Fitzgerald Rd. Fitzgerald has a very active women's group (Women on Mission) that meets the second Wednesday of the month at a church members home. This group, along with the church, participate in many mission projects throughout the year. The youth program at Fitzgerald is also very active with weekly Bible study, summer mission trip and other activities throughout the year. We have recently started a Children's Choir which practices during the second half of the worship service. Please come by and visit us on Sunday! Sunday School: 10:00; Worship Service: 11:00. Redbud Garden Club Description: Organized in 1962, this Club of approximately twenty people normally meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM in member's homes. With an active interest in gardening, service projects include helping sponsor the annual Cumberland County Flower Show.
