Getting Started - Using Mozilla Composer to edit your pages Getting Started Before you can use Composer to edit your web pages, you must have a copy of the Composer program on your computer. Composer is part of the Netscape and Mozilla web browsers. If you already have the Netscape browser on your computer, you should already have Composer. To find out if you have Composer:
If you don't already have Composer on your computer, you can download the Mozilla web browser (including composer) for free from Tucows. You can also purchase a CD containing the latest version of Mozilla for $3.95 from the Mozilla Store. We are recommending Mozilla Composer instead of Netscape Composer because it is a smaller download. All of the following instructions will work with either program. Preparing to edit your sample web pages Your Community Connections and Virtual Business Incubator accounts come with a set of sample web pages already in your web space. If you need a starting place for your web site, we recommend altering these pages to fit your community group or business. There are two ways to retrieve these files so you can begin to work with them. You can download zip files containing the pages, or you can use FTP to retrieve them.
